Comparison

The Better Stack alternative for pure uptime monitoring.

Better Stack is a modern observability suite: uptime, logs, incidents and on-call in one product. If all you need is to know whether your websites are up, you quickly pay for features you never use. Clesk Uptime stays deliberately focused, from Germany.

When is Clesk Uptime the better choice?

  • You need reliable uptime monitoring, not a full observability platform.
  • The jump from $0 to $29 per month is not worth it for you: Pro works out to about €6.60 per month.
  • A German provider, German servers and signed evidence matter to your clients.

FAQ

Does Clesk Uptime replace Better Stack incident management?

No. We detect and report outages (email, Slack, Discord, webhook) and document them. Rotations, escalation chains and phone alerts are deliberately out of scope.

How do the status pages differ?

Both offer branded status pages. With Clesk Uptime, public status pages are included in the free tier; private and password-protected ones come with Pro.

Why is focus an advantage?

Less surface, less configuration, less cost: if you monitor availability, certificates and cron jobs, a focused tool gets you there faster.
