What is Clesk Uptime?

Clesk Uptime is a monitoring service based in Germany. It regularly checks whether your websites, APIs and background jobs are reachable and how fast they respond, and it tells you when something goes down, before your visitors do.
What the service checks for you
At its core, Clesk Uptime runs regular external checks against your services, logs the result and raises an alert once an outage is confirmed. A single failure does not trigger an alert, only repeated failures count as a real outage.
- availability and response time of websites and HTTP APIs
- TCP ports such as mail servers or databases
- expiry of SSL certificates and domains
- missing pings from cron jobs and backups (heartbeats)
- response times that are noticeably slower than your normal baseline
Who it is for
Clesk Uptime is for everyone responsible for websites or services: agencies with client projects, shop and SaaS operators, freelancers and IT teams. The focus is on simple, honest monitoring without overloaded configuration.

Based in Germany, privacy in mind
The checks run from a German data centre, and the app and its data live in Germany. That keeps the data flow in the EU and delivers consistent, traceable measurements.

What the service deliberately does not do
Clesk Uptime is built for straightforward HTTP and TCP monitoring plus heartbeats. It deliberately leaves out recorded browser flows, clicking through authenticated transactions and a public API to control monitors. If you need those, a specialised and more expensive tool is the better fit.
